Right back like I left something, wishy-washy EbenGregory's in the house to bring good news: Young Buck not guilty.

Well, actually he pleaded no contest to assault with a chance to produce bodily injury? Exactly what type of charge is assault with a chance to produce bodily injury? I guess the charge translates to "I'm rich, I got the best lawyer and I'll be home for Christmas." And here I am thinking he gave somebody a wet t-shirt.

David Brown (Buck's real name) was sentenced to three years of felony probation and 80 hours of community service, but no prison term. The deal comes just weeks before the trial was supposed to begin.

Authorities claim Buck stabbed Jimmy Johnson after he sucker punched Dr. Dre several times in his mouth after the legendary producer refused to sign an autograph for him. The attack set off a chair-heaving brawl that spread to involve many of the 1,000 audience members in attendance.

At some point during the commotion, Young Buck allegedly stabbed Johnson in the chest, collapsing one of his lungs. Apparently the authorities got it wrong. Buck only had a fork in his hand.

Here's Bucks lawyer on the case: What we'll tell you now is what we didn't tell anyone back then. If you remember that first day [at Buck's arraignment in January], I told you pictures may be deceiving. Guess what? Pictures were deceiving. We knew that day in Buck's hand was a fork. He did not have a knife, he did not cause the injury and what we were able to prove by DNA evidence, by video analysis, is actually he did not do the stabbing.
