• A Waylon Jennings tribute album featuring country artists such as Trace Adkins, Alabama, Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser will be released on February 8.

The album will be the first installment in a trilogy titled The Music Inside: A Collaboration Dedicated to Waylon Jennings. The remaining two volumes are expected to be released later this year.

Alabama's Teddy Gentry and country artist Randy Houser discuss the project in two video clips, and how the motto of the album is based on something Waylon himself said:  "I didn't aim at anything except good music."

Thrilled to honor the modern country legend, Gentry describes in this clip how Waylon "brought the charisma of rock and the purity of blues to bear on his distinctive take on country music.  Going on about the iconic musician, Randy Houser claims here that Waylon "had a voice that grew from deep in his heart.
