As previously reported by Yo! Raps back in early July, word on the street was that there were whispers among industry insiders that Usher would be splitting from his manager Benny Medina. It seems that some rumors do pan out as both Usher and Medina have come out and confirmed the split.

In a brief statement issued by LaFace/Zomba, it was announced that Usher "has dissolved his management arrangement with Benny Medina and has re-engaged Jonnetta Patton [his mother] as his manager."

Usher, who "retired" his mother just days before mother's day last year, was reportedly "livid" about "Here I Stand" not reaching the chart status of his previous album, "Confessions."
