In "I wish we hadn't titled that song "Some Cut' b/c people gonna be looking at me like I'm the new R. Kelly when this hits the streets" news, Trillville rapper, Don P has been arrested on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl, DeKalb County police said Monday. Say it ain't so EbenGregory. It is and here's the skinny.

Police said Donnell Prince, who goes by the name Don P, and another man raped the girl at a party in Lithonia on Dec. 16. Allegedly, the assault took place at a gathering of about eight to 10 people at the Wood Crest Walk apartments when Prince and the second man took the girl into a bedroom. The girl and her friend then left the apartment and called police. But by the time they arrived, most of the partygoers had exited stage right.

Don P was arrested last week and charged with rape and two counts of aggravated sodomy. Police are looking for the second man. P's attorney Keith Adams say's Don P is not guilty.

Here's Don P's attorney, Keith Adams, to the Atlanta Journal Constitution on what happened that night: The girl was not a minor. There was more than one other person in the room at the time and the sex was consensual. Also, there were several people in the apartment that night and none of them will corroborate what they [the police] say had occurred.

Oh really Mr. Attorney?

A bond hearing for Prince has been scheduled for Wednesday.
