The clock struck midnight on Friday May 16th as Clifford "T.I." Harris and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle added a bouncing baby boy to their family. Little Major Harris weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz. "God has blessed us with another miracle," T.I. said. This is the proud parent's second child together (3-year-old King Harris is the first) and T.I.'s fifth.
Tiny rose to fame in the 1990's as a member of the R&B group Xscape. T.I. is now preparing for the release of his album, "Paper Trail." Although currently on house arrest, T.I is said to have recorded at least 50 songs for the upcoming release. It is still unknown, however which ones will be included in the final product. Among those recorded are "No Matter What," "Collect Call," "You Ain't Missing Nothing," "Top Of The World," and the ode to the booming system, "Let My Beat Pound".
"Paper Trail," T.I.'s sixth studio album, will reunite the "Jay-Z of the South" with producer DJ Toomp as well as super producers Danja, Kanye West and J.R. Rotem. The first official single, the Danja produced "What's Up, What's Happening," will be hitting airwaves soon. "I already know the demand is great, the anticipation is very high, and the wait is almost over man," T.I. said. "I promise you something special and I will deliver."
"Paper Trail" is scheduled to be released on August 12th.Visit Yo! Raps (www.yoraps.com) for your daily dose of Hip-Hop!
