Holding a very unique position, The Band Perry was nominated for the CMA's Vocal Group of the Year award before their debut album was released.
The anticipated CD hits stores today- four weeks before the CMA winners are announced. Based on the success of the trio's ballad "If I Die Young" - which has already been certified golf for selling more than a half-million digital downloads - the new album is likely to receive a lot of attention and rave reviews.
Besides competing with big country names like Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band and Rascal Flatts for the CMA Award, the sibling trio also has a heavy touring schedule, which includes an opening act for Alan Jackson in November.
With concerts and in-store signings in 11 different cities in the next 12 days, the humble band will be working hard to meet as many fans as possible to show appreciation for their support.
