• In "I guess I should report it since everybody else is" news, here's my official re-cap of the Grammy's. In the immortal words of Chris Brown, let's run it:

Kanye West scored three Grammy's including the much-coveted Best Rap Album at the 48th annual Grammy Awards. West, joined by Jaime Foxx, also performed a medley of "Gold Digger" and "Touch the Sky" that was dubbed the "Grammy halftime show." The performance featured West and Foxx dressed as bandleaders while leading their respective bands "KW State" and "JFU" in a step-show like routine. It was like looking at the 2006 version of School Daze.

Jay-Z performed a duet of "Numb/Encore" with Linkin Park. Earlier, when it won a Grammy for best rap-song collaboration, Linkin Park singer Mike Shinoda thanked "everyone in our management and legal teams that made this record possible, because it was a nightmare." It certainly looked like a business transaction, because Jay-Z and Linkin Park had zero chemistry, barely acknowledging each other onstage. Three words: Two thumbs down.

Mariah Carey won three Grammy's in the pre-telecast ceremony, including best R&B album. But she lost in all of the major categories she was nominated for, including record, song and album of the year even though she had the year's best-selling album with "The Emancipation of Mimi" (over 6 million sold). To add insult to injury, she won nothing during the televised ceremony. Plus, Madonna baller blocked her from opening up the show. Where's the love.

John Legend won three awards: best new artist, best R&B album for his debut, "Get Lifted," and best male R&B vocal for the piano ballad "Ordinary People" and now...

I've officially grown weary of talking about the Grammy's. The show wasn't sexy, nor was it exciting. Watching the Grammy's was like watching the VMA's while popping depressants and Kryptonite: slow and stupid.
