• It's Friday, The Jewelry Man might as well bring the drama.

In "Decisions, decisions" news, word on the street is that the light skin homey Terrence Howard was reportedly approached by a number of black stars who insisted that he pass on the opportunity to perform his Oscar-nominated song It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp during Sunday's ceremony.

Oh really EbenGregory? Please tell me what's happening behind the scenes.

According to the UK's Mirror newspaper, actress Eva Longoria said the actor was approached by several black stars, including Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington and Will Smith, who have asked him not to perform the song during the telecast.

Here's Eva Longoria to Mirror on what Sidney Poitier said to Terrence Howard: Do not get up there and represent the African American community singing about a pimp.

On another note, Taraji P. Henson, who belted the song's chorus in the film, will join Three 6 Mafia on stage for the Oscar performance. Here's the best part: Three Six will be allowed to keep the word "b*tches" in the chorus.

    Say word EbenGregory.

    Word.

A spokesman for Gil Cates, the producer of the Oscars telecast, confirmed that the term was not on the list of banned words. While Three Six will have to substitute words like "f*ck" and "n*gga," the Academy has given "b*tches" a stamp of approval.

The Jewelry Man is handing out that purple sh*t today. And on that note.

Here's some jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Terrence Howard supposedly being talked out of performing at the Oscars: A little inaccuracy sometimes saves tons of explanation.

I got my shades on waiting for the sun to shine my way/ got my boom box, sun tan lotion waiting for action/ they say when you play with skill, good luck will happen.
