  • In "I'm sick of all this gangsta sh*t" news, the little homey Spike Lee criticized both 50 Cent and The Inc. Records CEO Irv Gotti in an interview for the latest issue of Complex magazine.

Now why would he do that EbenGregory?

Here's Spike Lee to Complex Magazine on 50 Cent: I mean, look, 50 Cent has made a lot of money, but whatever you are doing that makes you have to put a bulletproof vest on your 5-year-old son, that's time for some deep introspective shit. I love Hip-Hop but strongly disagrees with images perpetuated by some of its' key figures.

I concur. What are your thoughts on Irv Gotti?

Here's Spike Lee to Complex Magazine on Irv Gotti: You name your company Murder Incorporated, your logo's got bullet holes in it, you changed your name to Gotti, and you wonder why your ass is in court? Alright, well gangsters go to jail; gangsters get shot."

I concur. What are your thoughts on unbridled materialism?

Here's Spike Lee to Complex Magazine on unbridled materialism: Whatever I got to do to get them rims, get my fly gear, to get my bi*ches and hoes, I'm going to do it, that's the mentality. F*ck who I got to hurt, who I got to shoot, who I got to kill. Also, I'm not feeling the title of 50's new video game "Bulletproof."

Spike's giving everybody a piece of his mind. Last week he mentioned the LA homey Snoop Dogg repeatedly in his degrading speech about "pimp" and "gangsta" images in the music. But you can read more about that here.

Since me and the homey Spike share the same alma mater (The prestigious Morehouse College), the jewelry will stay in the family on this one.

    Fight the Power.
