Snoop Dogg settled a lawsuit he filed against his former label Priority Records in 2006.
In the lawsuit Snoop claimed that Priority Records released a hits album that was unauthorized.
According to the Associated Press, the rapper filed a lawsuit against Priority claiming he is owed $2 million in royalties and $950,000 advance money from his album "Tha Last Meal", which was released in 2000.
The settlement came by way of a judge issuing a ruling for them to settle the suit or it would go to trial. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed but a lawyer for Priority, David Steinberg had this to say, "I don't believe a settlement would have been reached unless both sides were happy."
