• And now.a tax joke from The Jewelry Man:

What's the difference between a taxidermist and The Tax Man? The taxidermist takes only your skin. The Jewelry Man.telling you that The Tax Man must love poor people - he's creating so many of them.

In "If brains were taxed, he'd get a rebate" news, the soul singer Ronald Isley has been sentenced to three years in prison for tax evasion.

Oh really EbenGregory.I guess you can stick a fork in Mr. Biggs cause it sounds like he's done huh man?

    Yes.

The Jewelry Man is informed that the 65-year-old was found guilty of five counts of tax evasion and one count of willful failure to file a tax return last October, and returned to court to discover his fate Friday. During last year's three-week trial, prosecutors contended Isley failed to make any payments to the IRS between 1976 and 1996. He was also ordered to pay $3.1 million to the US Internal Revenue Service.

And now.an example of what not to do.

Here's Los Angeles District Court Judge Dena Pregerson to Ron Isley in open court about playing games with The Tax Man: You've been engaged in a pervasive, long-term, pathological evasion of federal taxes. You've spent millions of dollars of unreported cash payments for performances on a yacht and two homes, and cashed royalty checks belonging to your late brother, O'Kelly, who died of a heart attack in 1986. You're serial tax avoider.

Interesting. The Jewelry Man wonders how Mr. Biggs plans to get The Tax Man's foot off his neck.

Here's Mr. Biggs lawyer to Los Angeles District Court Judge Dena Pregerson on how Mr. Biggs plans to work that debt off: My client is selling off his assets in an attempt to pay his tax bill.

And now. dingy corner store silver ice jewelry.

If life doesn't offer you a game worth playing, then invent a new one.
