R. Kelly Resting 'Indefinitely' After Throat Surgery

R. Kelly is resting "indefinitely" after undergoing emergency throat surgery.
The 'I Believe I Can Fly' singer had an abscess on one of his tonsils drained on Tuesday and is now staying at Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
His publicist Allan Mayer said today he will be "laid up indefinitely" following the surgery.
The singer had recently complained of throat pain, and was rushed to the hospital after a throat exam.
No further details of how long it may take for Kelly's recovery have been made public yet.
The 'Love Letter' hitmaker had just finished a U.S. tour with Keyshia Cole and Marsha Ambrosius, and while his voice had been bad, he did tweet last week to say he thought it was getting better.
Referring to a popular cough remedy, he wrote: "I refuse to take another cup of theraflu! I feel like my throat is coming back. I've been in bed sweating like crazy. Thanks guys!"
