In "Foolishness begets foolishness" news, the American Idol homey Paula Abdul suffered back injuries and concussion after being attacked at a private party on April 2. The po-po are investigating the case as battery, but have no suspects.

Let the 43-year-old American Idol homey tell it, her injuries were caused during an argument that saw her slammed against the wall by a man. And speaking of telling.

Here's Los Angeles police spokeswoman April Harding to EbenGregory on what happened to the American Idol homey: She claimed she was at a private party on April 2nd and that at 1 am an argument occurred between her and a man and that the man grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall. She also claimed to have suffered a concussion and spinal injuries. She saw her own doctor and at the time of the report said she would make herself available for photographs (of her injuries).

Despite getting a hand necklace, Abdul has made regular appearances on live "American Idol" shows this week. Abdul is all about getting her paper. And speaking of getting some.
