In "I just got Punk'd" news, Paris Hilton's otherwise gala debut at London's Fashion Week was interrupted on Tuesday night when activists from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals pelted the Simple Life star with flour in protest of the fur in the fashion collection that she wore.

Here's PETA spokesperson Yvonne Taylor on why PETA gave Paris the gas face: There is nothing remotely fashionable about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Paris may have been able to ignore images of bloody skinned animals gasping for breath in the past, but hopefully a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.

The socialite's evening had started without incident, as she opened and closed designer Julien Macdonald's show sporting what were reported to be $3.6 million worth of (borrowed) jewelry. Then, the PETA people ambushed her and gave her the equivalent of a wet t-shirt but instead of using bullets, they used flour.
