Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others. Let's take the decision not to go on the Oprah Winfrey Show for example.
The all-knowing Jewelry Man is informed that Outkast declined the offer to appear on her show because Andre 3000 and Big Boi couldn't agree on how to promote their Idlewild film and soundtrack. The Jewelry Man is also informed that the real reason they didn't do it was that while Big Boi wanted to do the show, Andre 3000 was against it.
See, they have a soundtrack coming out Aug. 22nd and a movie on Aug. 25, titled "Idlewild." Oprah wanted them to come on the show in September. Big Boi wanted to use the early September "Oprah" appearance to promote both projects but Andre 3000 was unwilling to commit to the show and told Big Boi pump the breaks.
The decision to turn down Oprah is fueling rumors that the Hey Ya homies are now at odds and the group, as we know it may be a rap. And speaking of it's a rap.
Here's a source to Fox News 411 on Outkast possibly breaking up after their deal with Arista is up: Andre is only interested in acting now. When their deal is over with Arista, he's outta there.
The Jewelry Man is under the impression that when two people decide to end a relationship, it isn't a sign that they "don't understand" one another, but a sign that they have, at last, begun to so...
Here's Andre 3000 to Nobodysmiling.com on not tripping on getting that tour money to support their forthcoming album "Idlewild": It's like wearing a Jheri curl in the fifth grade and then trying to wear a Jheri curl at 65, just to look like you did in the fifth grade. I don't wanna keep throwing myself back into that. I don't wanna be on stage rapping at age 40. I probably wanna be at some club, playing saxophone.
And here's more Andre 3000 to Nobodysmiling.com on his relationship with Big Boi: The music business has put a strain on my family relationship with Big Boi, but it can never sever our ties. We're still gonna be together. I want Big Boi to do well inside and outside of Outkast. Because certain things don't last forever.
And speaking of turning off the light's.here's some black pearl jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Outkast possibly breaking up and getting money separately: The formula for a getting money with your man? It's the same as the one for living in California: when you find a fault, don't dwell on it. Get money.I should forward this same jewelry to Jay Z; he likes black pearl ice.
