While rumors swirled that Taylor Swift and Kanye West would be working together on the Quincy Jones all-star sequel to "We Are The World" to benefit Haitian earthquake relief efforts, it's just not true. Swift's publicist told CMT.com, "It will be a wonderful event," but noted that Taylor planned to fly out to Australia right after last night’s Grammys show to start her tour.

The original version of "We Are the World," released in 1985, featured co-writers Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie singing along with a cast that also included Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan to name a few. Entertainment Weekly reports that, "We Are The World 25," will be recorded in Los Angeles today in the wake of last night’s Grammy Awards show. Sugarland is confirmed to participate in the event.
