Queen of the music world strikes again. For the first time in her 16-year career, Mariah Carey has earned the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the year list.

Her single "We Belong Together" earned the title by hanging onto the chart for 14 weeks, longer than any other single in 2005, according to The Associated Press. Carey's song was the first by any artist in the last eight years to hold that position for such an extended period of time.

She also has the honor of having the first year-end No. 1 song by a female artist in the last five years (in recent years, the title has been held by artists including 50 Cent and Usher.

I guess when you've experienced the kind of success Mariah has over the last year, you can get away with dressing like this. Even a garbage can gets a steak sometimes.
