After a June 22 arrest in Arizona, Lil Wayne has pleaded not guilty to drug and weapons charges on Tuesday (May 6).

On January 22 the rapper was arrested by the state border patrol 75 miles outside Yuma, Arizona. Wayne's bus was stopped on Interstate 8, and was searched by the police. During the search, the police found numerous narcotics including 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstasy, besides cash money worth $22,000 and three guns. His 2 associates were brought in for the marijuana and all three were taken into custody at the Yuma City County Jail.

According to MTV, the New Orleans emcee is due to return to court on June 19, where he will face several charges: possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, misconduct involving weapons and a possession of drug paraphernalia.

A day after his arrest, Lil Wayne posted $10,000 bond and is currently free pending the outcome of his case.
