"Voice Of The Young People" is the debut album by female rapper Lil Mama. The first single "Lip Gloss" caused a lot of noise around the nation. The second single off the album is "G-Slide (Tour Bus). On her latest single "Shawty Get Loose", Lil Mama joined forces with T-Pain and Chris Brown.
The release date for "Voice Of The Young People" has been scheduled for April 29. Lil Mama has apparently recorded 27 songs for the album, with only 14 songs making the album. Producers for the album include Cool & Dre, Scott Storch, Dr. Like and Swizz Beatz. A deluxe edition with a bonus DVD and bonus tracks was mentioned on multiple sites but there has not yet been any further information.

There were rumours that Ashley Tisdale would appear on the album with the track "Grafitti Gurl" but ultimately the track did not make it onto the album, to the disappoinment of many fans.
