As a rapper, when you're incomplete, you're always searching for that next record to complete you. When, after a few years or a few months of recording music, you find that you're bank account is still unfulfilled, you blame your record label. The Jewelry Man.telling you to reject your reality and substitute it for my own.
In "I'm trying to cross-over even though I've crossed over" news, the little big man homey Lil Jon is working on his new album which he says is taking Rap back to Rock.
Oh really EbenGregory.sounds like Lil Jon's had some Kryptonite.
Yes.
Here's Lil Jon to MTV on his new album Crunk Rock: I'mma take it back to the first Run-DMC album, when n---as was like, 'I'm the King of Rock.' Not the King of Rap, the King of Rock. It was hard hip-hop beats, but hard guitars [too]. I'mma take [Crunk Rock] to that. Half the album is going to be like that Rock beats and the other half is going to be like 'Get Low' and 'I Don't Give a F---' and 'What U Gon' Do.' It's going to be something new and go way further than any other thing I did on the last album. By me collaborating with cats in the studio, it's gonna come on some whole other sh*t.
Here's Lil Jon to MTV on moving city to city to record Crunk Rock: Every city I record in gives me certain energy. I'm starting this album in Vegas. ... Vegas' energy is wild ... Vegas is really rock and roll. It's perfect for me to start the record out there. We was originally gonna do it in L.A., but then the house we was getting, the people flaked out because they didn't want us recording in the house.
And here's The Jewelry Man on such a bland story: F*ck this sh*t.
And speaking of flavor.
Here's some jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Lil Jon recording a album called Crunk Rock: The things most people want to know about are usually none of their business.
And speaking of business.come get all up in mine: MySpace.com/ebengregory.
