It was like, 'Oh, that's just Beyonce's dad.' I think once we got older, because he had become a male figure in our life, I think we felt as children it was difficult for us to come to him on a business level. It was nothing personal with the girls, but being as [Beyonce's] father was the manager, it became more of a personal situation. Latavia and I had questioned that weren't getting answered.
