Two new music festivals with an electronic bent have popped up on the radar for Labor Day weekend. North Coast Music Festival will take place in Chicago's Union Park September 3 - 5, featuring The Chemical Brothers, Nas & Damian Marley, The Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's McGee, Paul van Dyk, Moby, Benny Benassi, Pretty Lights, De La Soul and many others. There are limited 3-day passes available for $65 until June 13, a $40 savings to single day ticket prices.

Nocturnal Festival is scheduled for September 4 - 5 at Apache Pass in Downtown TX, TX (yes, you read that correctly...there appears to be a community by the name of Downtown Texas in the state of Texas. strange, huh?), located about 65 miles from Austin. Artists include The Disco Biscuits, Armin van Buren, Girl Talk, ATB, Pretty Lights and Laidback Luke. Insomniac Events will also host the fest in San Bernardino, CA on September 25, the 16th annual installation in that area. Tickets for the Cali event appear to run $40 for the night.
