The Jewelry Man is under the impression that an artist is someone who produces things that people don't need to have but that he - for some reason - thinks it would be a good idea to give them. The Jewelry Man.telling you that life is a series of images that change as they repeat themselves.
In "I'm Bossy, but my label is the one who really pulls the strings" news, the I'm married to Nas homey Kelis is mad at Jive Records for including the song "F*ck Them B*tches" on her upcoming album Kelis Was Here.
On really EbenGregory.does this mean her milkshake is not bringing the decision makers to the yard?
Yes.
Here's Kelis to the New York Daily news on why the song "F*ck Them B*tches" shouldn't have made the album: I just did [the song] to get it out of my system. I did not want it on the album. It's not a statement I want to make right now.
Interesting.since we're talking about the label, are you getting ready to pull a "Free the Lox" campaign since your label treats you like you're new to this?
Here's Kelis on why she hates the label so much right now: My label is constantly trying to take control of me. I'm not a new artist. I've been working hard to create my persona and have longevity and they went against my wishes. A lot of people think being bossy means bossing somebody around. But it's about being in control of your life. I'm fighting to be my own woman.
That's nice.like watching me go to Hollywood and saying, "They're beautiful. Everybody's plastic, but I love plastic. I want to be plastic." And speaking of being young and restless.
Here's some corner store bodega jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Kelis finding out that even bosses have BOSSES: I'm the type who'd be happy not going anywhere as long as I was sure I knew exactly what was happening at the places I wasn't going to.
