Her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. Yes Lord. That is of course, if the milkshake doesn't look like this.

Back from the dead, my ex-girlfriend Kelis, is planning on taking 2006 by storm. Her new album, The Puppeteer, is due in the spring with the first single being released in January.

Here's Kelis to MTV on her new album and the new single "Bossy": It's just another strong kind of girl record; it's a lot of fun. I don't take myself too seriously. I like to do what I do and get out there and play with people. It's one of those obnoxious things, and people love it or hate it, and that's fine with me. 'The puppeteer' basically means I pull all the strings. I like to think of myself as a trendsetter, and it sort of just means being in control. I feel really good about it. I worked really hard, and it took me what seems like forever, so I'm just ready to let it out.

    Oh really?

The Puppeteer features production from Scott Storch, Damon Elliott and Raphael Saadiq, as well as Max Martin. Tentatively, there are only two guests appearances: one from Too Short and one from her husband Nas.

I just hope the cover and artwork of the new album have some hot shots of Kelis like the one's seen here, here, and here. But you know Kelis is tricky, she may come out looking like this and this.

It's all good though, I love her just the same.
