We're gonna bless you with material on Yung Joc vs. Cam'ron, Method Man getting his weight back up, Hip-Hop taking over NASDAQ for a day, and why we need hip hop comedians in our lives. Read on, young grasshopper.

Crazy Al Cayne. welcome to the world of the hip hop comedian:

Okay, just for the record, the general public should know about this comedic cat, Crazy Al Cayne. His video version of Andre 3000's [Outkast] "Hey Ya", known hilariously as "Gangsta", is both low-budget and f***king great. The man is living up to the moniker, at least.

On the last bloggy installment, we covered Cam'ron's non-diss during last weekend's HOT 97 Summer Jam. Now we've learned that despite street rumors that Cam's "remix" of Yung Joc's "It's Goin Down" made the rookie rapper from ATL a marked man, Joc wants no part of Cam's wanna be beef with Jay Z. No, Cam, it's not goin' down apparently. not in the streets, not in the club, not anywhere. so you can just let it go. Really. Take the Stewart Smalley approach and sit in front of a mirror and remind yourself that you are special, you are important, and gosh darn it, people like you.

Onto the survival of Shaolin. Ghostface has helped resurrect the Wu Tang name in recent years with a couple classic solo records while the rest of the Clan has arguably fallen off. Enter Mr. M.E.T.H.O.D. Man. Beginning with Tical, Johnny Blaze has released some dope material, but failed miserably with his last album, The Prequel, which Puffy had a lot of control over. Word has it that rather than being stuck in the "How High" and "Blackout" mentality entirely, Meth is sobering up for this summer's release of the post-weed dedication day, 4:21. The Day After. Congratulations to you, Method Man. We were wondering when you'd step out of that "smoking weed makes me laugh. a lot" zone. We have faith that you'll prove that you can still make ill records.

Hip hop equals the stock market? Well, many hip hop companies are indexed in the financial world, pulling in billions of dollars worldwide, but it isn't frequent that Hip Hop gets the chance to ring the damn NASDAQ bell. However, next Wednesday, on the 1, 2, 3, 4, FEEEFFFFFFFTH! Birthday of the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, the mogul Russell Simmons and his holy counterpart, Dr. Benjamin Chavis, will be onboard the NASDAQ platform making the fiscal world's heads ring like Sequence and Dr. Dre did ("ding ding dong// ring da ding ding ding ding dong!"). I only wish that Russell could sneak into the soundroom and load up an 808 kick into the system to replace their tweeter bell. Big ups to HSAN though.

Until the next episode, y'all, stay on the up.
