Up for grabs are the rights to all recordings made under Death Row by Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. According to TMZ.com, the starting bid will be $24 million. Interested parties have until June 10 to submit a bid.
Founded in 1991, the label has reportedly made an estimated $750 million in revenue from products from artists like the late great Tupac, super producer Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg (back when he was still being called Snoop Doggy Dog) and Tha Dogg Pound. Death Row was also the home to The Lady of Rage, Michel'le, Ray J, DJ Quick, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez under the pseudonym N.I.N.A and M.C. Hammer.
