A couple of days ago the New York Post speculated that the rapper was dropped from Atlantic because of poor album sales. The media ran with the story and soon everybody and their industry contacts were making Fat Joe the butt of their jokes. It got so bad, Fat Joe had to have the head honchos over at Atlantic Records come to his defense.
