It is not the thief who is hanged, but one who was caught stealing. The Jewelry Man.telling you that little thieves are hanged by the neck and great thieves by the purse.
In "I like the way you do that right thurr" (did I spell that right) news, a St. Louis man, who claims to be the man who really "discovered" Chingy, is suing the multi-platinum rapper for more than $250,000, alleging breach of contract.
Oh really EbenGregory.does Chingy still have money?
Uh.yes?
The Jewelry Man is informed that Ronald R. Gavin claims Chingy broke a contract with his label, 49 Productions Inc., to sign with producer duo the Trak Starz and eventually ink a deal with Capitol Records and Ludacris.
Here's Gavin to the Associated Press on Chingy giving him the gas face: Chingy signed an exclusive contract with me in 1999 under the name H. Thugzy. I spent upwards of $100,000 developing his career over the course of three years. I got Chingy radio play and performances. I produced one album for him and was starting a second before he began to enjoy commercial success.
Let the streets tell it, the Trak Starz persuaded Chingy to sign a separate contract, with the promise to connect him with Ludacris.
That's nice.like giving away your royalties in exchange for a three-legged chicken that lays golden eggs. And speaking of getting some.
Here's some jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Chingy being sued while he's trying to make a comeback: Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.whatever that's about.
And speaking of keeping up.watch me do a 100 miles while running: Myspace.com/ebengregory.
