In "Now I think I'm Martha Stewart" news, the rich homey Sean John Combs is scheduled to produce a five-night NBC reality miniseries titled Celebrity Cooking Showdown, which is set to debut in April. The show will match three celebrity chefs to train side-by-side with nine celebrities.

Celebrity Cooking Showdown will team celebrity stars with celebrity chefs including Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora (Food Network's "Iron Chef America") and Govind Armstrong (executive chef, Table 8, Los Angeles) in an eventful new reality cooking competition series over the course of five consecutive weeknights from April 17-21.

Diddy, who owns two restaurant chains, said Celebrity Cooking Showdown is "not out of my space."

Here's Diddy to EbenGregory on how sexy cooking is: The sexiest trend going on right now is young men learning how to cook. There's nothing more sensual than a man cooking for his woman. We wanted to do something that fit that trend in the marketplace. Besides, celebrities competing in the high-pressure arena of the world's top chefs will make great television.

I'm sure. A check doesn't hurt either, huh man?

The first three episodes of the series will feature each of the three chefs tutoring a celebrity and training them for their moment in the spotlight. Celebrities will then face off against each other in a timed competition to create a three-course meal.

Judges will determine one winner from each night, with the three finalists squaring off for a Thursday finale. The winner, selected by a mix of judges and viewer votes, will be revealed on Friday.
