In "This really ain't news, but Diddy's a ego whore so he makes me write about him" news, a fragrance ad showing rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs in bed with two scantily clad women (one white, one Asian) has been pulled, after being deemed too racy for department stores.

The steamy commercial depicted the hip-hop star in bed with two models, in a situation which implied the threesome had enjoyed sexual relations. But the Estee Lauder publicity drive was thought inappropriate for family stores, and a new shoot with just one model has replaced the raunchy original.

Here's John Demsey, global president of Estee Lauder on the Sean John fragrance ad: It is unfortunate that some people were so uncomfortable with something with that much sexual presence. But we stand by it.

The new fragrance which is being release by Estée Lauder in partnership with Combs is called Sean John Unforgivable. The Eau de Toilette will be available in February. The line will also include bath and body product as well as a women's fragrance for fall 2006.

Like I said, this really ain't news. I'm not even gonna drop any jewelry on this one. On a side note, I think the picture above is better than the toned down version seen here. At least they didn't post the pictures of Diddy hanging out at the Sausage Party seen here and here. Now that would be news.
