Devlin has been tipped as the UK's answer to Eminem.

The grime MC recently worked with Labrinth - who was behind Tinie Tempah's songs 'Pass Out' and 'Frisky' - and the musician-and-producer is tipping him to match the 'Love The Way You Lie' rapper's success.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Devlin is amazing. I really would call him the UK Eminem. When I first heard him I didn't fully get him, and I quite like that I didn't. But when I listened a little closer to his lyrics, this guy has got skills.

"I know it sounds stereotypical but I think he could have that much effect on the UK. It's because he has soul; he doesn't just throw lyrics like 'cars,' 'money,' - fantasy kind of lyrics. He's very real. He's like 'this is my life' like got a story y'know, he's very much like the Bob Dylan of rap."

Labrinth is planning a host of new collaborations, with Gorillaz so impressed by his remix of their track 'Stylo' he is now going to cut a full track with them.

He is also in talks to work with Lil Wayne, Massive Attack and [art]Bjork[/arat]; but for the moment, Labrinth is busy launching his own singing career, with his debut single 'Let the Sun Shine' released on September 27.
