As The Jewelry Man lays out his jewelry to wear for the week, he became disturbed. Unfortunately, A-list celebrities, B-list rappers and C-list R&B singers with Sausage Party tendencies have seemingly united to stop the random acts of silliness that grace the front page of his commentaries. But.sometimes a brave soul unknowingly volunteers himself to be the sacrificial lamb. The Jewelry Man.taking time to sacrifice the timid lamb.
In "Damn, we should have just let 50 Cent and Eminem ride" news, the out of work homey and The Source Magazine founder Dave Mays recently filed for bankruptcy protection in attempt to temporarily block an auction sale of his stock in the Hip-Hop publication.
Oh really EbenGregory? I guess he's been talking to Suge Knight?
Yes.
The Jewelry Man is informed that Mays shares cannot be sold yet in light of his declaration of bankruptcy. According to AllHipHop.com, Mays' 82 % stake is being sought after by at least three suitors, including Marc Ecko, Earl "Butch" Graves in conjunction with Black Enterprise, and Partnership Equity.
Here's Ecko Unlimited to AllHipHop.com on trying to get their hands on Mays 82%: We found out about the bankruptcy claim at the same time everyone else did. But overall, The Source is a great brand and certainly worth pursuing. I think it would be a great blend with us having Complex Magazine under our belt. So, we'll see how things work out at the auction, whenever the auction actually takes place.
The Jewelry Man knows what you're thinking.who cares right? Well speaking of not caring.
Here's some goodwill tax right-off jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Dave Mays borrowing a page out of Suge Knight's play book: Remember, people will judge you by your actions, not your intentions. You may have a heart of gold -- but so does a hard-boiled egg.
