In "Diddy can Make A Band" news, the we get MTV money and album sales money homies Danity Kane came out on top of The Billboard 200 crop with its self-titled debut. The set sold 234,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, giving Bad Boy Records its seventh No. 1 album and first since 2003's "Bad Boys II" soundtrack.

Oh really EbenGregory.Diddy is the man no?

    Yes.

The Jewelry Man is informed that Danity Kane exceeded the two other "Making the Band" debuts' opening week tallies: O-Town's self-titled began with 145,000 at No. 5 in 2001 and Da Band's "Too Hot for T.V." started with 204,000 at No. 2 in 2003.

    And now.the Diddy.

Here's Diddy to AllHipHop.com on feeling good about getting money with Danity Kane: The girls are a phenomenon; you know what I'm saying? Their record just went to radio so they didn't even have a record, no spins at radio. It shows the true testament of their fanbase people that watch the show and how hot the album is. The word of mouth on the album is so crazy, with the production from Timbaland, to Scott Storch, to Rodney Jerkins to Brian Cox. It's something out of nowhere.

Tell me more Diddy, tell me more.

Here's Diddy to AllHipHop.com on riding 26" rims while still feeling good about getting money with Danity Kane: The kids are going to the stores and the stores are sold out. We are rushing to keep it in the stores. [As] soon as we put in the stores it sells out. If these girls outsell [one of the] biggest rap groups in history, that's just gonna be crazy.

Crazy indeed says The Jewelry Man.like showcasing fugazi jewelry to a 1,000 hungry hood stars that cry tattoo tears. And speaking of chicken noodle soup and a piece of jewelry on the side.

EbenGregory is now serving a heaping side of jewelry: Just like Diddy, I wouldn't have turned out the way I was if I didn't have all those old-fashioned values to rebel against.
