It's been a slow day.there's nothing of interest on the street. At least nothing worth repeating. But guess what...it's 1:43 am EST and guess who's up working like clockwork? The Jewelry Man.tick, tock, tick, tock. I mean really, what would Donald Trump do?
In "It's amazing how much random silliness comes across the screen of my Treo" news, The Jewelry Man is informed that Cristal isn't too fond of rappers endorsing their brand.
Hmm.interesting. One question EbenGregory, they do like the color of their money, yes?
Yes.
Here's the managing director of Louis Roderer Cristal to The Economist Magazine on its relationship with Hip-Hop: We (Cristal) observe our association with the rap world with curiosity and serenity.
Here's the managing director of Louis Roderer Cristal to The Economist Magazine on not really feeling rappers who buy their champagne: What can we do? We can't forbid people from buying it. I'm sure Dom Perignon or Krug would be delighted to have their business. Constant Cristal patronage by rappers is an unwelcome attention.
Here's a little tidbit from my good friends over at AllHipHop.com: According to AmericanBrandstand.com, the pricey champagne was the 8th most mentioned brand on Billboard's Top 100 chart in 2005 with 35 mentions, being promoted by the likes of Kanye West, Trina, Lloyd Banks, The Game, Mariah Carey, and others.
And speaking of not caring and moving on to something else.
Here's some jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Cristal giving rappers the gas face: Ditto.
And speaking of room two-twenty-2.come over to my space and tell some lies: MySpace.com/ebengregory.
