My old girlfriend Christina Aguilera got married to record executive Jordan Bratman over the weekend. As you can imagine, I'm not too happy about that. She didn't even invite me. Word on the street is she tied the knot in a Saturday evening ceremony at Staglin Family Vineyard in northern California's Napa Valley. My spies tell me, yeah I be spying on her, that her hair was decorated in jewels and pulled back in a bun topped by white flowers. I hear she sported a Christian Lacroix gown as she walked down the aisle. That's enough wedding talk, it won't last. She'll come back to me when she finds out that Bratman won't stand for her kissing other women. I personally was in favor of the Madonna-Britney Spears scenario, but that's just me.
On another note, Christina has shed a bit more light about her new album on her paid fan site. She recently posted that the work in progress is a "throwback to the 1920s, '30s and '40s. "Some of the songs are kept authentic, sticking to a really raw, old-soul sound, where others combine elements of old blues, jazz and soul with a hard modern-day edge." Let her tell it, "It's her best work yet." In my opinion, I think the deal she did with Madonna is her best work. That's just my opinion of course.
