• N.Y. police found the body of a man who once worked as a body guard for Busta Ryhmes on Wednesday (May 28).

After noticing blood dripping from the back of an SUV, police approached the vehicle and found Jermaine Williams' body wrapped in a blanket in the back seat. Although the medical examiner has yet to determine the official cause of death, conflicting reports have said that the 35-year-old either suffered from head trauma or multiple gunshot wounds.

Williams was reported missing 24 hours before his body was found after he did not return from a trip to his grandmother's house in Queens . He is survived by two children.

According to Busta's attorney, Williams hadn't worked for the rapper for over eight years.

Busta, currently on tour in Europe, released a statement through his attorney Friday (May 30). "We have all suffered a great loss and Jermaine Williams will be deeply missed. He has remained a dead friend, even though we have not work together in 8 years. Our condolences and prayers to out to his family and we ask that we be allowed to mourn the loss of our friend in peace."

In February of 2006, another of Busta's body guards, Israel Ramirez, was gunned down on the set of the video for the remix of "Touch It." Busta gained national attention for his refusal to cooperate with police during their investigation of the murder. In July of that year, however, he reportedly said, "I really didn't get a chance to see what went down. When we went outside, that's when we saw my friend on the ground, dying slowly."

According to reports, the two incidents have been determined to be unrelated.

Busta's eighth studio album, "Blessed," is said to be released later this year. It includes tracks featuring Lil Wayne and Ludacris.
