    Bow Wow has confirmed that he will be taking his act on the road this summer. The now 21-year-old rapper is taking on a 25-city tour of the U.S. starting July 14th in New York. He will be performing songs from his 2006 solo album "Price Of Fame" and the 2007 collaborative album with young R&B vocalist Omarion, "Face Off." The tour will end at the West Hollywood House of Blues on August 17.

    Bow Wow was 13 when he released his debut album "Beware Of Dog" in 2000. The singles "Bounce With Me" and "Bow Wow (That's My Name)", reached #8 on the Billboard 200, helping push sales of the record to nearly two and half million. In 2003, he dropped the "Lil" from his name in an effort to display his maturity. At the same time he released his sophomore effort "Unleashed." After the release of "Wanted" in 2005 and "The Price Of Fame" in 2006, Bow release "Face Off" with Omarion. The first single "Girlfriend" climbed to the #33 position on the Billboard Top 100 charts. This was the first album by both artists to receive a parental advisory sticker. "Face Off" included guest producers, T-Pain, Nitti, The Neptunes, Scott Storch, Timberland and infamous Rick Ruben.

    Bow is also set to star in Weinstein Co.'s new basketball movie with Lil Wayne and Forrest Whitaker called "The Patriots." Set in Louisiana, the movie is about a post Hurricane Katrina basketball team whose players attended 5 different high schools before the hurricane hit. The movie, based on a true story will show document the journey of how the players set aside their differences to pursue their mission for the state championship. Filming began earlier this month. "Patriots" will directed by Tim Story, ("Babershop" and "Fantastic Four") and is scheduled to be released sometime in November.
