• In "I better do some damage control before my wife kicks me out the house for making her look stupid" news, my homeboy Bobby Brown has slammed reports that planning to divorce Whitney Houston, insisting his wife is "the better half of me". Oh really?

Brown admits Houston was worried when she read reports in the New York Daily News that the "My Perogative" singer had been boasting about his alleged single status at a gig in Connecticut last week.

Here's Bobby Brown to People Magazine on the rumors: The rumors are wrong. They're false. I really couldn't tell you (how the rumors started). They say I said something about it, but I joke a lot. I don't think I said it, but if I did it was a joke. Trust me, it's someone that got the words mixed up. Oh, she (Whitney) called me! She's calling me on a regular basis like, 'Bobby! Did you say this? Did you say that?' (She's) definitely upset. There's no way I can be upset, because I didn't say it and I'm not trying to divorce her, and that's the most important thing.

Here's Bobby Brown to People Magazine on Whitney being his support cushion, I mean, his best friend: She's my friend. She's the better half of me. They say opposites attract, but we're not opposites. We're one person. We're loving life, and we're just trying to be as good to each other as possible. And we're moving on. What's important is that we love each other. It doesn't matter what people say. They want to try to break us down anyway. That's not for us. We're here, and we're gonna be together for a long time, so people can expect us to stay together. I'm with my wife for the duration - and that's life.

Sounds good Bobby, sounds good. But what happens when her music royalty money dries up? Don't answer that.

Here's some expensive jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Bobby Brown slamming divorce rumors: The most happy marriage I can picture or imagine would be union of a deaf man to a blind woman.
