In "You reap what you sew" news, the bad-decision making homey rapper Black Rob was sentenced to up to seven years in jail for grand larceny Thursday (March 30) in New York.

Not the Black Rob from Bad Boy. Say it ain't so EbenGregory?

It is so.

You remember when Rob got his "sticky fingers on" when he stole over $6,000 in jewelry and $300 cash from a woman's hotel room in NYC back in "05. Unbeknownst to Rob, his silly actions were caught by the hotel security cameras.

He was eventually charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property and was subsequently sentenced to serve two to six years in jail. Here's where it's gets real silly: Rob never turned himself in and decided to hit the road.

Unfortunately for him, Rob was picked up on a fugitive warrant February 24 after skipping out on the agreement. A spokesperson for the Manhattan district attorney's office said the rapper was given the maximum sentence on the charge due to his flight. He will begin serving immediately.

Poor Rob. The Jewelry Man has some words of encouragement: The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back in your pocket. I should have told you that a couple years back.
