In "I guess the jig is up" news, the homeboy Black Rob is being detained in police custody after being picked up on a fugitive warrant February 24 in New Jersey. I am informed that Robby Rob was supposed to turn himself in on Jan. 24 to serve time for a burglary charge from 2004, but he never surrendered himself.
Oh really? So what happened EbenGregory?
No show at court=bench warrant=doors get kicked down at 3am by Officer Friendly.
Here's Black Rob's spokesperson to MTV on the Federal Task Force arresting Black Rob: The federal task force apprehended him at an undisclosed location last week.
Here's spokesperson Edison Alban to MTV on the Federal task Force arresting Black Rob: We're not sure where he is. He's under the custody of the federal task force, and it seems as if he's in New Jersey, but we can't confirm what happened to him after the 24th. We're still trying to get more information. Rob has to return to New York to be jailed on the original charge and could face an indeterminate amount of additional time and charges for jumping bail.
Why was he on bail anyway EbenGregory?
Rob was arrested for removing jewelry from a hotel room without authority. He was seen on a hotel-security tape checking doors on The Ave hotel's 12th floor at around 4 a.m. He was also seen on the tape entering the room of a guest, Renu Vermani, and leaving with a pocketbook.
Vermani, a cardiologist visiting from Maryland, said that she was sleeping when the heist took place, but woke up to find $6,000 in David Yurman jewelry and $300 in cash missing.
I've heard enough. EbenGregory might as well do his thing so.
Here's some jewelry being dropped by EbenGregory on Black Rob being detained on a fugitive warrant: We don't know what we want, but we are ready to bite somebody to get it. Well at least some of us are.
