
The Academy of Country Music has announced their 2011 endowment of $661,000 to ACM Lifting Lives, made on behalf of the artists who participated in the taping of "Girls Night Out: Superstar Women of Country" concert special that took place in Las Vegas in April.
Artists that participated included The Judds, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride and Loretta Lynn.
ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the ACM, dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Each year, ACM Lifting Lives provides grants to music therapy and music education programs.
