50 Cent is still trying to get rich after his new movie "Get Rich or Die Trying," opened to a lackluster weekend. In fact, the big bad wolf was beat out by a chicken. Go figure.

Chicken Little topped all movie releases this weekend by raking in over $32 million in ticket sales, while Get Rich has only generated $18 million since its opening last Wednesday. While the film didn't do Eminem numbers, it did post the best per movie site numbers with an average of $7500 in 1,652 theaters.

The spin-doctors are in overdrive trying to figure out what happened. Some blame the killing that took place in Pittsburgh at the Loews Cineplex, which caused some theaters to refuse to show the movie after-dark. Others say people are just tired of 50. Still more people say the movie was sub-par and the acting sucked!

I don't think 50 cares either way because at the end of the day he still looks like new money. Didn't you see the picture above.
