• 50 Cent has linked up with MTV to search for the next street-savvy business mogul. The as of yet titled show will be part of the music network's summer/fall lineup.

    According to Variety, the show will center of 16 contestants, who is typical reality show fashion, share a home and compete in "challenges that relate to street savvy and business smarts."

    Described by Variety as a "kind of hip-hop "Apprentice,'" the show will end each week with 50 eliminating one contestant. The last man (or woman) standing will win a full scholarship to an undergraduate or graduate business program.

    Ish Entertainment's Michael Hirschom, Stella Stolper, and Chris Choun will executive produce the show along with 50 and Chris Lighty. Eight episodes have been lined up.

    Accompanying Fif's new show is "Making the Rock Band," a new take on Diddy's music reality series, season two of "America's Best Dance Crew" (June 19), season five of "Run's House" July (16) and the now classic "Making the Band." Fif's fourth studio album, "Before I Self Destruct," is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
