Soulja Boy has spent $55 million on a private jet.

The 'Kiss Me Through the Phone' hitmaker has bought himself a Gulfstream G5 jet as a present for his 21st birthday yesterday.

The jet itself costs $35 million, but Soulja - real name DeAndre Cortez Way - is spending an extra $20 million on customizing it, adding 12 Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, four liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

Gossip website TMZ also reports he will take out the standard lavatory and replace it with a huge, luxurious bathroom and he is also giving the jet a custom paint job which will include his logo.

Soulja Boy rose to worldwide fame with his 2007 debut single 'Crank That (Soulja Boy)', and was named the joint 18th highest earning star in hip-hop of 2010 in a list compiled by Forbes, raking in $6 million.

He is also coached in finances and his career by 'In Da Club' hitmaker 50 Cent, who experienced a similar sudden rise to fame a few years earlier.

Soulja previously said: "Being black, with money, from the hood, struggles, and coming from nothing to something, of course you're going to share the common struggles. You going to have people hate. You're going to have people that change on you, and all that.

"So of course, watching 50, and him going through what he did, if there wasn't no 50 Cent, there would be no Soulja Boy. You know what I mean?"

Soulja is also splashing out another $300,000 on a party for himself at a Miami nightclub tonight, which Bow Wow and Sean Kingston are expected to attend.

The story is set in contemporary New York City in the heart of one of the largest record labels to touch ground - Golden Boy Records - where a naive young girl finds herself putting it all on the line to make her dreams a reality.

Eighteen year old Paris was born and raised in the windy city of Chicago and has been on her own since losing her grandmother to a sudden heart attack. With no one to turn to, she is forced to strip in order to pay the bills. An aspiring singer whose career is put to a halt in order to keep her head above water, Paris dreams of one day becoming a star.

It isn't until she catches the eye of Hip Hop mogul Miles Crawford one night during work that her life turns around. Miles sweeps Paris into the world of entertainment, taking her on as his protégé and temporary arm piece. As Paris' life takes a drastic change and the industry proves itself to be too much for her to handle, she starts to see the true intentions of those she once trusted.

Paris must figure out what's more important in her life: fame or owning her true self. The experience leaves her to answer the question - 'What's the true price of fame?'....

As a special request for her online audience, Dynasty Publishing - a division of Simon and Schuster - released an early e-book edition of the novel specially for Kindle/Nook users. 50 Cent has pulled the release of his new album.

The 'In Da Club' hitmaker claims problems with his record company, Interscope, have prevented him from being able to release the album - which had the working title 'Black Magic' - and vowed not to work with them again.

He tweeted: "Man I'm not releasing a album i can't believe interscope is this f***ed up right now. I apologize to all my fans (sic).

"I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many (sic)."

50 had previously blasted the label for "moving in slow motion" to get his fifth album released, writing last month: "My whole career iv been doing s**t and they have been playing catch up this is the last f**king album THEY BETTER WAKE UP AND WORK (sic)."

"I would rather not launch my album without a plan the whole system is executing. I don't know why they play with me, they know how I get (sic)."

50 also added he is planning to leak Dr. Dre's new single, 'Psycho', possibly in protest against Interscope, who Dre is also signed to.

He tweeted: "I LOVE DRE but I'm putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00 #SK. Your gonna love it its a big song I just don't think it deserves a great set up sense they can't seem to get it right when it comes to me (sic)."

Dr Dre's latest album 'Detox' has long been delayed, but is rumored to finally be released before the end of the year. Dre has yet to respond to 50's plans.

Justin Bieber and his dad got matching tattoos.

The 17-year-old singer - who already has two other inkings, a star on his elbow and a seagull to his hip - visited a tattooist in Israel with father Jeremy Bieber in May, where they both had 'Yeshua,' the Hebrew word for Jesus, etched onto the left side of their torsos.

Photographs posted on fan website TheJustinBieberShrine.com show the 'Baby' hitmaker looking nervous as he sits in the tattooist's chair before his dad takes his hand while the inking takes place.

The pair then posed together, revealing their inflamed new artwork.

Justin - who is dating Selena Gomez - was raised primarily by his mother Patti Mallette but has previously spoken of his closeness to Jeremy.

He said: "I have a great relationship with my dad. When I was younger, he taught me how to play some songs on the guitar, like 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' by Bob Dylan.

"He taught me how to drive, too. He's cool."

While Justin and his father have not explained the significance of their matching artwork, the teenage singing sensation's manager Scooter Braun has previously revealed the star prays in both English and Hebrew before each performances.

Scooter - who is Jewish - said: "Justin heard me pray, he gets why I do it and now he does the same."
