Pharrell Williams has confirmed he is working with Madonna.
The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. star has a busy 2011 planned, but remains tight-lipped as to what his collaboration with the '4 Minutes' hitmaker will involve.
He said: "I've just been all over the place from project to project. Right now I'm working on a lil' Neptunes music. And there's another 'Despicable Me' film to score. We've also got some stuff going on with Madonna."
Pharrell loves working with other people and says he learns a lot from each of his collaborators.
He added to website News.com.au: "I learn in every process. Every session I have I try to take something from and learn different things - how to make great music, how to make that music greater.
"Working with Daft Punk - they've been our buddies for like 10 years, and watching those guys work is pretty amazing. They make great beats and it was cool to collaborate with them. I love Uffie - she's got a great energy about her and Nelly is really sweet and super-talented."
Justin Bieber calls Usher "all the time."
The 16-year-old pop sensation is grateful for the support of his superstar mentor and knows he can always rely on the 'OMG' hitmaker for advice.
He said: "I call him all the time. I ask for advice. We hang out. He's probably the closest person to me in the music business."
Among the topics likely to be discussed by the singers is dating, as the teenage star admits he loves the attention he receives from women.
He said in an interview on 'The Early Show': "It's great, you know. I'm 16 and I love girls."
Usher stepped in to help rise Justin to fame when he was discovered on video sharing website YouTube by his now-manager Scooter Braun.
Recalling his sudden stardom, Justin said: "I just started posting videos online and then it just got to the point where they wanted to move me out to Atlanta and start recording songs."
However, it's not always all glamorous for the 'Baby' singer, who confessed earlier this month that he had to miss some important phone calls after his mum cancelled his contract after an argument.
He said at the time: "We got into an argument about something stupid, and she was like, 'Give me the phone' and I was like, 'No', so she just went and cancelled it."
"If Usher wants to get in touch with me? Then it's tough."
Britney Spears will premiere her new music next week.
The 29-year-old star's latest track, 'Hold It Against Me' will debut on radio in the coming days prior to release in the US on January 7 and insiders who have heard the song - her first release since '3' in September 2009 - think fans won't be disappointed.
Sharon Dastur, programme director for New York's Z100 radio, told Entertainment Weekly magazine: "It's produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin. And the beat that they give her is really unique compared to other artists - this infectious bass beat beneath the song. Plus, the hook is just amazing. It will be out on January 7."
Rumoured lyrics to the track appeared online earlier this week, but producer Dr. Luke insisted they were not genuine.
He tweeted: "I/we never wrote a song called 'don't hold it against me'.... BewaRe of InaccuraTe info kids ;-) We did write 'hold it against me' but those lyrics are NOT the lyrics ... (sic)"
Britney's single is released ahead of her as-yet untitled album, which is due for release in March.
Among those the singer worked with on the record was Swedish producer Shellback, who recently spoke out to praise her professionalism.
He said: "Britney's actually damn professional. You read a lot on the Internet that Britney is not singing and mimes, but she is actually damn professional. She's done it since she was 16. And just rhythmic way, she is f***ing awesome! And you do not have to go through and talk about the rhythms and stuff that you sometimes have to do. She's very easy in the studio."
Khloe Kardashian and her husband are reportedly getting their own reality TV show.
The 26-year-old socialite - who tied the knot with Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom in September 2009 after a whirlwind one-month romance - is said to be branching out from the rest of the Kardashians to appear in the E! spin-off show, which will focus on the pair's marriage.
With both having already appeared in reality shows 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and 'Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,' the new series is believed to be taking a 'Newlyweds'-style format and will see the couple go about their day-to-day lives.
Lamar's two children Destiny, 12, and eight-year-old Lamar junior - who he had with ex-wife Liza Morales - are also expected to be appearing in the spin-off show.
The brunette star recently revealed the 31-year-old sportsman is keen for the couple to start their own family, and would like them to have twins.
However, she thinks he needs to learn a thing or two about biology.
Khloe said: "He asked me, 'Can't we just put two in there?' He's crazy, he thinks it's like that easy."
Katy Perry is creating an "aroma" especially for her 2011 European tour.
The 'Teenage Dream' singer is planning a spectacular stage show for her tour next year and is determined for it to engage all the senses of her audience.
She said: "It's going to be great - all the dates have sold out in the UK already. I want it to be really fun and very visual.
"It's going to engage all the senses, so we're looking into alternative stuff like smell. We're talking to a couple of companies at the moment about creating an aroma for the performance."
Katy, 26, also promises the tour will see her appear in several of her signature outrageous outfits on stage.
However, she admits it's not particularly easy to get in and out of the clothes between songs.
She explained: "There will be a medley of looks, and they'll be very strong. When I get changed during a show it's like I'm at a Formula One pit stop. There's Velcro being ripped off and stuff getting strapped onto me.
"On my 'Hurricane' tour I wore a different outfit every single night. It was crazy, and not cheap."
Katy's European tour starts in Lisbon, Portugal, on February 20 and runs until April.
Rihanna and Matt Kemp have reportedly split up.
The Barbados-born beauty and the baseball star called time on their 11-month relationship after struggling to find the time to see one another, with the singer touring the world in support of her latest album 'Loud' and the sportsman based in Los Angeles. A source told Us Weekly magazine: "It happened over the last few weeks. She basically was just over it."
The insider claimed Matt, 26, was growing increasingly frustrated at 22-year-old Rihanna's busy schedule, but insisted the couple were never particularly serious about their relationship.
The source said: "He just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule. Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal.
"It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just about having fun."
Earlier this year, Rihanna admitted she and Matt felt the pressure of making a long distance romance work.
She said: "It's really difficult because we are so far from each other most of the year and we both have very demanding schedules, it gets difficult at times but it is what it is.
"I'm in love and I'm very happy but we have only been dating for a few months so no wedding for now, we are taking it easy."
Nicki Minaj wants a man who will "honor" her but also "bring out the freak" in her.
The 'Right Thru Me' rapper has described her ideal man, saying he would be someone who would not dominate their relationship, but was strong enough to let her win some of their arguments.
She told King magazine: "I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man.
"You know, someone who is able to honor his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman."
Nicki, 26, also talked about her acting ambitions, saying she'd ideally like to play a "sentimental" role.
She added: "I'd like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world.
"Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with."
Nicki's debut album, 'Pink Friday', is out now.
Alicia Keys has written a song for her newborn son.
The 'Put It in a Love Song' singer debuted the track - called 'Speechless' and dedicated to her son, Egypt, who was born in October - yesterday, through her husband, Swizz Beatz', website.
The song, which features rapper Eve, was produced by Swizz and Alicia explained it in a post on her twitter feed.
She wrote: "Speechless is a little freestyle treat 4 the holidays. It's not a new album, not a single it's something special 4 U (sic)!
"My gift to you - a little song about my lil guy ;-) love to you - let's make 2011 incredible!!! (sic)"
The ballad starts with Alicia saying: "I'm at a brand-new time in my life and a brand new feeling, and it's like this little guy, man, he takes my breath away."
The song samples Kanye West's 'Devil In A New Dress' but was largely written by Alicia at her piano.
She said: "I always start writing at the piano, because I just feel like it's the best way to get the song out. It makes me take everything else away, and it just makes me get into it."
