Will.I.Am claims Michael Jackson is behind all his biggest hits.

The Black Eyed Peas hitmaker - who has produced number one singles for a host of stars including Usher, Estelle, Cheryl Cole and his own group Black Eyed Peas - says he uses the 'King of Pop' for inspiration when he's trying to write a hit track.

He said: "We call it 'A-B-ing.' Anything you make, there's nothing new under the sun. So there's always an 'A and B', whatever your approach is.

"So if you want a song to be a big number one smash, then you have to play a Michael Jackson song while you're making your song."

Will also admitted that he uses Michael - one of the greatest pop stars of all time, a notorious perfectionist who made the biggest selling album of all time 'Thriller,' and who collaborated with Will before his death from acute Propofol intoxication last year - as the benchmark to decide if tracks will be a hit.

He explained to MTV: "What you don't want to do is have a 'hit record' and then turn it on and it isn't as loud as Michael Jackson's."

Meanwhile upcoming female US rapper Nicki Minaj - who enlisted Will's help on her song 'Check It Out' - praised his ability to improvise.

She said: "That's when I knew he was a freaking, next-level - he was not even a human when he recorded me. The word 'producer' means different things depending on who's using the word. Will's the only producer that produced me. He really sat there and he got this weird sound, and I was like, 'What?' He just made the beat on the spot."

Justin Bieber has been turned into a toy.

The teen singing sensation's likeness has been turned into two ranges of dolls - the Music Video Collection and the JB Style Collection.

The Music Video Collection sees figures playing 30-second clips from his hit songs 'Baby' and 'One Less Lonely Girl' and the dolls are dressed in Justin's outfits from those videos.

The JB Style Collection, features Justin figurines dressed in "street style", "awards style" and "red carpet style" outfits.

The mini Justin dolls will be released in December.

Justin, 16, is not the first star to be made into a toy.

During the peak of their fame in the 90s, the Spice Girls all had their own figurines, as did Take That and Britney Spears.

Last year, Sienna Miller was turned into an action figure in the guise of her 'G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra' character Baroness.

She said "I'm not sure if I'm going to be playing with my own doll - but I'm going to have happy nieces and nephews, I'm sure."

British boy band JLS are also set to be immortalized in plastic, with their range of dolls coming out later this year.

Khloe Kardashian says getting pregnant is "much harder" than she thought.

The socialite and her basketball player husband Lamar Odom have been trying for a baby but haven't had any success so far.

However, the brunette beauty isn't too disheartened because she enjoys the "practice."

Khloe, who this week celebrated their first wedding anniversary, told Life and Style magazine: "I thought I'd be pregnant by now. We've been working at it all year.

"Getting pregnant is much harder than we thought - but practicing making babies is amazing!"

The couple have reportedly started using a fertility monitor so they know when Khloe is ovulating and what the optimum time is to try.

A source said: "Khloe's been using the monitor for about a month now. They're trying more actively than ever before. Lamar is very serious about it."

Khloe, 26, and Lamar, 30, marked their anniversary by renewing their wedding vows on Monday (9/27/2010).

The Los Angeles Lakers basketball player surprised his wife by organizing a service at music industry executive Irving Azoff's family home in Beverly Hills - the location of their first nuptials.

Nick Cannon wants sponsors to pay out $25,000 for his birthday parties.

The 'America's Got Talent' host - who is married to Mariah Carey - has sent out a mass email asking corporate sponsors to pay for his 30th birthday bashes in New York and Los Angeles next month.

Boasting that confirmed guests include Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher, Will Smith and Jamie Foxx, the actor has promised any companies who assist with the celebrations - which are to be hosted by his wife - will receive tweets and exclusive photographs in recognition of their donation.

The email - sent by the star's representatives and obtained by the New York Post newspaper - said: "This is an extremely exciting opportunity to sponsor a fun and lavish event. Opportunities range from gift bags and signage to tweets and photo ops."

In return for a $2,500 donation, sponsors will feature in the gift bag, while a more generous $15,000 will guarantee "one tweet," plus a "mention in all public relations materials."

Additionally, those prepared to fork out the full $25,000 will earn the donator the official title of "host sponsor," which includes "three tweets", a "right to service out photos" and a "logo on all collateral."

The couple are well-known for their love of lavish parties.

To celebrate his wife's 39th birthday, Nick whisked Mariah - who is worth an estimated $400 million - off to the Caribbean island of Barbados for an exclusive celebration.
