Justin Timberlake is "insecure" about his talent.

The 29-year-old star - who shot to fame aged 12 as a member of the New Mickey Mouse Club - claims he is still not fully comfortable either as a singer or a performer, despite winning several awards for his work.

He said: "I think I'm equally insecure about both of them. I've been doing this for two thirds of my life and I still consider myself pretty young but I think that's the part you battle with all the time.

"When you're creating your art, that's the best part. Your senses are on a creative high and then the part where everyone gets to see it and comment on it, that's the part I think you battle with until you die.

"It's absolutely terrifying."

Justin doesn't want to be known only for either his acting or singing talents and thinks his early work on the children's TV show gave him a solid grounding in both professions.

Justin - who voices the character Boo-Boo Bear in upcoming animated movie 'Yogi Bear' - added: "It's no secret I was trained as a very young kid on a TV show with a lot of other extremely talented actors and singers - Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling.

"I think we were all trained in the arts, be it song, dance or acting."

Lady Gaga's boyfriend Luc Carl dumped his girlfriend to get back together with the pop star.

New York-barman Luc has been close to Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - for four years, and the pair rekindled their romance after she returned to the 'Big Apple' to visit him last month.

The 'Alejandro' singer was unaware Luc was dating someone else when she went to see him and the hunk ditched his other love when he knew Gaga was interested in him again.

A friend of the 'Poker Face' singer's said: "Luc was like the cat that got the cream. He had the most famous woman in the world vying for his attention and a hot young blonde waiting in the wings.

"It could have ended really badly, but the other girl melted into the background. She knows what Luc's like - he has women all over the place... Gaga has convinced herself that this time she's got Luc back for good.

"She says it's serious and that, after a few false starts, she thinks they are back on for good."

Gaga first met Luc when she was working in New York club St. Jerome's in 2006, but rekindled their friendship when she invited him to a New York Mets baseball game in June.

Since then the pair have been "together", with Gaga even flying Luc out to join her on her 'Monster Ball' tour in Houston, Texas.

However, Luc's mother Melinda is not over-enthusiastic about their reunion, because the relationship ended badly last time.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They had a very nasty break-up last time. And I have no idea how this will end. I deliberately haven't talked to him about what's going on. With those two, you never know."

Zac Efron's girlfriend gave him permission to visit a strip club.

The 'Charlie St. Cloud' star insists Vanessa Hudgens was "fine" about his recent night out to see exotic dancers at New York nightspot Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club with two pals - including 'High School Musical' co-star Corbin Bleu - though he admitted he felt awkward about telling her his plans.

He said: "The hardest part was calling my girlfriend beforehand. How do you start that conversation without feeling like a total a**hole? It was hard. She was fine with it."

Zac laughed off reports he had spent $2,000 in the club and claims the visit wasn't as glamorous as he had imagined it would be.

He told US TV talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "I'm not really the type of guy that does that kind of thing often. I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. It was supposed to be pretty reputable. I envisioned myself sitting on a nice couch, shades on, with T-Pain and Usher, making it rain money - and it just wasn't like that."

Rapper Drake admires Jay Z and Eminem for their "loyal" fan bases.

The 'Best I Ever Had' hitmaker - who collaborated with Jay Z on new album 'Thank Me Later' - explained while the '99 Problems' star has never had to test the loyalty of his fans, the 'We Made You' singer has been through personal ups and downs and kept his supporters.

He said: "I think it's so rare that an artist comes along in our generation that has a loyal following no matter what - I think Eminem has it.

"I think Jay-Z has it, although he's never faltered enough to test it. Jay is almost like the perfect guy. Media-wise, there's never been a true test of your fans staying with you. Eminem has had gone through a couple of ups and downs and his fans were with him no matter what."

The award-winning rapper admitted he thinks close friend, incarcerated hip-hop artist Lil Wayne, will be the next star to prove he has equally loyal fans, despite his recent troubles.

Drake added to MTV: "I think Wayne is that guy. I know Wayne is the next guy, after the two I just named, that has that unconditional loyalty, no matter what.

"You get caught with this and you go to jail. You make little life errors that people should never find out about, but because we're in the public eye, everyone knows everything. Wayne has those fans."
