This politcally-minded comedy action adventure tells the story of Team America, a group of superhero-style adventurers who travel the world fighting terrorism and other evils. Specifically, the story focuses on a typical "action hero" who is recruited to join Team America for a special mission, as a satire of the typical Hollywood action movie, using a combination of wood marionette-driven action sequences and stirring tongue-in-cheek musical numbers.

But when her anonymous cyber soul mate turns out to be her high school's über-popular quarterback Austin Ames (Chad Michael Murray), Sam makes a mad dash back to reality, leaving her cell phone behind just before the clock strikes midnight.

Will Smith stars in this action thriller "inspired by" the classic short story collection by Isaac Asimov and brought to the big screen by director Alex Proyas (Dark City, The Crow). In the year 2035, robots are an everyday household item and everyone trusts them, except one slightly paranoid detective (Smith) investigating what he alone believes is a crime perpetrated by a robot. The case leads him to discover a far more frightening threat to the human race... bad special effects. Review by George Purdy, the Reel Deal

Nickelodeon slams down another slice of Rugrats on the counter with a side helping of the Wild Thornberries to go with. Yes, the two groups meet and have a death island match for who gets top billing. (Obviously, the Rugrats won).

America's taste for low-brow humor has become so pervasive, that even Woody Allen has taken to playing an idiot in his films lately. This film which touts itself as the "Evolution of Dumb", has no Farrelly brothers, Jim Carrey, or Jeff Daniels anywhere near it, but does it have funny?

Josh Hartnett, master of the wounded puppy dog look, teams up with old fogey Harrison Ford in a buddy cop investigation of the gangland slaying of a famous rap group on stage. Jokes about people being old. Jokes about people being gay. hmmmmm.

No Vin Diesel in this sequel, but Paul Walker teams up with Tyrese Gibson to street race more cars and beat a bad guy into submission. Check your IQs at the door, please.

Jim Carrey is given all the powers of God by a poorly run movie studio. Erm, I mean by God, played by Morgan Freeman (ah yes, it all makes so much sense now). In a return to wacky comedy, can Carrey and co-star Jennifer Anniston make us laugh again?

This summer's most highly anticipated film gets the royal RD treatment. We have got some things to tell you that you may find surprising. Don't worry, we'll keep Martin from spoiling too much for ya.

Bencio Del Toro is basically John Rambo in this chase thriller reminiscent of "First Blood". Tommy Lee Jones is the tracker who trained del Toro and now must catch him. The Reel Deal are the critics who have to tell you whether this is worth your $7.00 or not.

Stephen King tries the alien invasion genre again… Friends since childhood, four troubled guys reunite for a camping trip, when they encounter a stranger with knowledge of an alternate and deadly world that they will soon see.

Frankie Muniz stars as Cody Banks, known to his friends and family as an average teenager with all the same hang-ups and problems that come with it. What they don’t know is that the summer camp he attended was actually sponsored by the CIA which turned him into a highly-trained secret agent.

Steve Martin is an executive who gets involved in online dating and accidentally ends up with Queen Latifa. Well, suffice it to say, his life gets all urban and hip-hop. Wackiness and healing ensues. This movie scares me.

An Indian man with a deep love of Hollywood comes to Tinseltown only to find his acting dreams aren't getting much farther than porno shoots. But, with the help of a porno star (Heather Graham) with a heart of gold, he re-invents himself as a sex-guru to the stars, launching his career overnight. Marisa Tomei and tons of pancake makeup also star.

Alan Parker brings us the metaphor laden untrue tale of a UT college professor and anti-death penalty advocate, who ends up on death row himself for a crime it appears he did not commit. Kevin Spacey plays it sad and serious as Gale and Kate Winslet is an investigative reporter who cries a lot.

This year is the 140th anniversary of some of the early big battles of the civil war and this prequel movie to "Gettysburg" deals with these battles of 1st Manassas (AKA the Battle of Bull Run), Antietam, Fredericksburg, and Chancellorsville. Apparently this is the first of the trilogy and a third is on the way. I suppose at the very least its good for my hometown's local economy.

Three guys in their early 30's (Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson, and Vince Vaughn decide to start a fraternity, but their real lives play havok with their quest for regained youth. The director of the classic banned "Frat House" made this, with his outspoken intention to make the party film genre entertaining again. Tall order. This plot sounds suspiciously like the lives of a lot of people I work with.

What is it about little goth girls going psycho and slashing up the neighborhood that just gives me that feel-good sensation? Austin local done good Angela Bettis stars as the titular "hero" and we'll tell you whether the film is cut-rate or killer.

The chin returns in the action hero spotlight, this time as the classic Marvel comics superguy "Daredevil". Jennifer Garner from "Alias" stars as Elektra, Michael Clark Duncan as Kingpin, Colin Farrell as Bullseye...with a cast like this, one has to expect good things. How is this gonna stack up against "Spiderman"? In a year packed with Superhero movies, can Affleck deliver the goods? Is Frank Miller going to start writing angry letters? We'll tell you whether to break out your old underoos or not.

Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson team up again in the sequel to their wildly successful "Shanghai Noon". This time they go to England to deal with some case for the empire, when Jackie's sister shows up chasing the man who killed their father. Chaos ensues. Jack the ripper shows up as do many other turn-of-the-century british types, but we come for the chemistry and the action. How does it stack up?

Did you know LL Cool J's name means "Ladies Love Cool James"? Neither did I , but the producers of this movie did as they cast him as a professional ladies man who is hired for $5000.00 to distract a meddlesome sister-in-law, but no one expects what happens next. Well, none of the characters in the film anyhow. I'll tell you this...don't expect alien chest bursting, just a bit of bodice ripping.

The romantic comedy juggernaut continues its destructive path, soft lighting everything it sees. Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson are the tools of its terrible wrath this time and no masculine sensibility is safe. But seriously, Hudson is a writer for a glamour mag assigned to write an article about how to do everything wrong in a relationship and must make Matthew dump her in 10 days. Matthew, in order to get a big diamond account for his advertising firm, must make her fall in love with him in 10 days. You can see where this might get a little wacky.

Charlie Kaufman has brought us "Being John Malcovich" and "Adaptation" and now he has written the adapted screenplay for the Chuck Barris "autobiography" and they got George Clooney to direct it (his debut).Get this...Chuck Barris (yes, the host of "The Gong Show") was also a CIA assassin the whole time. How could this possibly be bad? Or could it?

A small town is bedevilled by a malicious killer ghost type creature that seems to be the angry spirit of a woman who may have been wrongfully executed by the townspeople long ago. She is the "Tooth fairy". Yes, they've done Santa and leprechauns and all sorts of assorted halloween folk and now this. Coming soon, Easter will never be the same when you see "Bad Egg". Or "Bunny goes Beserk".

Lawrence Fishburne plays the head of the bad boyz in this motorcycle street racing flick that wags are dubbing a "black, motorcycle, 'Fast and the Furious'". Is this a good or bad thing? Is it even true? What does it say about it that the one white guy in the production is Kid Rock (in as far as I know, his acting debut)? Oh, we're gonna have some fun with the clips from this one, I can see it now.

Kimberly, your regular girl, ends up escaping the clutches of death, and saves others, as well. But soon the survivors start dropping dead and Kimberly realizes you can't cheat Death.

A scruffy Colin Farrell is recruited for CIA special forces by a scenery-chewing Al Pacino (what else is new), but all may not be what it seems. There seems to be some mixed feelings out there on the net about this one, but our opinion is pretty unanimous. Of course, you'll have to watch to find out what that is...

Jason Lee has a few days before his wedding and he wakes up the night after the bachelor party to discover a naked Tiki dancer in his bed (Julia Stiles). To make it worse, it turns out she's the bride's cousin. Between Stile's ex-boyfriend psycho cop who stalks and tortures Jason Lee, to the low-brow meets high-brow in-law family antics, wackiness is sure to ensue. Might this actually be a tolerable romantic comedy? At least there is no Tom Green anywhere in sight.

Steve Zahn and Martin Lawrence (who I'm starting to believe may be the Anti-Chris), star as two booted off the force ex-cops who are security guards now, but whose over-zealous behaviour uncovers a smuggling ring and police corruption. Yes, I'm sure this is a powerful message film about the darker side of the police, like "Narc" or "Training Day". Look for an Oscar nod for Martin Lawrence.

Denzel Washington jumps behind the lens for his directorial debut with a true story of a troubled young man, who through the help of a naval psychologist (played by Denzel) manages to explore his past, find his family, and eventually go on to become a Hollywood producer. I guess there is hope for us all.

Dude, where's my suicide machine? Aston Kutcher ("That 70's Show")and Brittany Murphy ("Clueless") are a young couple. He's working class, she's rich and their families and friends hate one another. The couple gets married anyway and goes to Italy for their honeymoon, but things don't go as perfectly as planned. Wackiness ensues, as does a great deal of moaning and gnashing of teeth ...from the audience!

Another Charles Dickens's literary classic makes a trip to the screens here in the story of the orphaned Nicholas who is sent to London to live with his Uncle who turns out to be a right bastard, but can't keep Nick's indomitable spirit down. Christopher Plummer apparently does a stunning turn as the evil uncle, and you know its Dickens, so great acting abounds. But will it keep you awake? Watch tonight and see.

This surprise buzz film has come up out of nowhere to be one of the most talked about movies this season. An untried director combined with two actors who's stars were flickering a bit (Ray Liotta and Jason Patric) doesn't usually make for instant hit material, but Narc is one to watch. Two cops, a dead cop, a conspiracy to cover up the truth. We'll try not to let Martin spoil anything for you. (sorry Martin)

Finally Riker and Troi get married and on the way to their honeymoon the Enterprise is sent to Romulan space where the crew picks up a discarded android, which appears to be the prototype to Data. The Federation sends them on a mission to meet with the new leader of Romulus; Shinzon, a human cloned from Captain Picard. Despite his claim of wanting peace with the Federation, Shinzon has only two agendas: Capturing Picard as his only matching supplier of genetic material and the complete destruction of Earth.

Jessica is young, sexy, popular and a shoo-in for homecoming queen...or you could just simply say she's a stuck up bitch. Oh, but that all changes when she shoplifts some magical Egyptian earring which put her in the body of Rob Schneider. Ah, ain't karma grand?

Marisa Ventura is a single mother working as a maid in a first-class Manhattan hotel. As a lark she tries on a rich woman's clothes and bumps into Assemblyman (and Senatorial hopeful) Christopher Marshall, who believes that she is a guest at the hotel. It becomes a Cinderella story where Christopher will do anything will do anything to meet with her again, but the question is, "How long can Marisa keep up this ruse?"...or better yet, "What'll happen when she can't?"

Raised by a single mother, Devon has carved out his place in the world with "mad skills" to back up his attitude. He might even have been the best high school drummer in all of Harlem, but now that he's been recruited to play in a college marching band is he up to challenge of strict discipline and rigorous, military-style training? As well as find a way to express his own individual style and put the kibosh on a rival band's winning streak.

John Leguizamo becomes a mack-daddy (kids, is this still the right slangy term?) drug dealer who thinks he finds a way out of the life with a white investment banker who seems a little too nice. Is it premo shit or dirt weed? We'll let you know.

Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale of pirates and hidden treasure is given a modern update. In a parallel universe that resembles a Victorian period gone high tech, strange creatures search the galaxy for "the loot of a thousand worlds".

Adam Sandler tries his hand at writing and producing an animated musical comedy in this Xmas/Chanukah tale. He stars as Davey (as well as Whitey and Eleanor), the 33-year old town drunken troublemaker who goes around destroying the holidays for everyone. This year Davey goes a step too far and he's given one last chance to work out his demons or get sent to prison...and his only hope is his genetically challenged former basketball coach.

A psychologist is sent to investigate a space station orbiting a mysterious planet called Solaris. It appears most of the crew aboard the space station has died, and the survivors are being visited by beings resembling dead loved ones - including the psychologist's dead wife.

In the third of this successful "trilogy", we find Chris (Cube) and cousin Day
