Pop Evil is an American post-grunge band from Michigan, which was formed in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Dave Gracia (Lead Guitar), Jamie Nummer (Bass, Background Vocals) and Dylan Allison (Drums, Background Vocals).
In January of 2007, the band picked up Tony Greve, who plays guitar opposite Dave. In March of 2007, Jamie left Pop Evil to spend more time with his family. After Jaime's departure, the band came in contact with Matt DiRito, a bass player, and a perfect addition to the band. He joined immediately to give the current lineup.

In late March, the band released a Limited Edition, self-titled album which contained ten of the thirteen songs on Lipstick on the Mirror. Songs on the CD included the band's first single, "Somebody Like You" as well as the band's two newest singles, "100 in a 55" and "Hero". The album was given out to fans at a CD release party in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The band has recently finished producing their newest album, which includes songs not on the limited edition self-titled album as well as a re-recorded version of at least one song. Lipstick on the Mirror, which the band produced with producer Al Sutton (Kid Rock) at Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan, is set to release nationwide on August 12, 2008.
Their newest single, Hero, is already receiving airplay nationwide in several local markets as well as on Sirius and XM Satellite radio. The band has been actively touring, and will be will be touring with Puddle of Mudd beginning in late August, 2008.
The newest album -- Lipstick on the Mirror has been released and is doing very well.

From Wikipedia:Pop Evil is an American post-grunge band from Muskegon, Michigan. It was formed in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty, Dave Grahs, Jamie Nummer, and Dylan Allison. Lead guitarist Shane Allison was originally added as a temporary/studio guitarist for the band, but then was invited to become a full-time member in early 2007. Around that time, bassist Jamie Nummer left the band for personal reasons, and was replaced by Matt DiRito, formerly of Muskegon rock band Archangel.
They are currently on tour as the opening band for the American leg of Judas Priest's "British Steel 30th Anniversary" tour. Other bands they've toured with include Saliva, Tesla, Puddle of Mudd, Theory of a Deadman, Framing Hanley, Saving Abel, and Whitesnake, among others.
