On ‘El Mariel’ too, Pitbull has worked with Fat Joe and Sinful on “Que Tu Sabes D’Eso’. “Jungle Fever” features Wyclef Jean and Oobie. “Ay Chico (Lengua Afuera)” has also become an immensely popular track.
Pitbull seems to have made a name for himself in other areas as well. Several of his songs are used in video games as well, such as “Toma” in WWE Day of Reckoning 2. Pitbull has also released several mixtapes, the latest being ‘Unleashed Volume 5’. Pitbull has expressed his stance on Castro on more than one occasion. He loves his isla bonita, and on hearing that the Cuban president was transferring duties, he immediately wrote “Ya Se Acabo” (which means “it’s over”), which is now being played in radio stations in Miami.
Not happy with confining himself to run-of-the-mill reggaeton, Pitbull is now due to release his all-Spanish album ‘Armando’ in Spring 2007. ‘Armando’ is said to have an Afro-Cuban feel to it and is different from the usual reggaeton you hear from most rappers. He hopes that with ‘Armando’, Pitbull can create wonders for Li’l Jon in the Latino market, like Li’l Jon did for Pitbull in America.
